A gear cable winch, that pulls!

RW 800 is qualified for mountainous and steep areas. The power transmission consists of a worm gear that operates in an oil bath and features 8 t (80 kN) pulling power. Essential for this construction is its dedicated axis and the centred power take-off.

It`s engineered by Königswieser and assembled in our factory. All components are fabricated by sub-contractors in within a radius of 20 km. Also the final assembly and quality assurence take place in our own workshop. So we can guarantee high grade at all parts.

The achievement tests have resulted: RW 800 coped easily with the logging in scarp and demonstrated its high stability under load. Due to its own axis the weight of the logs bear on the cable winch instead on the tractor. A rear-up can be avoided.
Via dedicated hydraulic cylinders the shield can be pivoted forward. Thereby a long pitch to the cable-heeling is generated that leads to an optimized cable-winding.
